While on vacation, Andy sustained critical, life threatening injuries when his snowmobile unexpectedly projected forward hitting a solid object at great speed. Andy was transported to a trauma center in Bangor, Maine where he stayed in a coma for approximately two months. Andy’s wife passed away a few years prior to the accident and he is now a single parent of three children. Following his stay in Bangor, Andy was airlifted to Kessler Institute of Rehabilitation in West Orange, New Jersey so he could receive the significant rehabilitation treatments he requires and where he could be closer to his family. Andy is now home and still severely debilitated from the head trauma resulting from his accident.
